This Code of Conduct defines the duties of diligence, loyalty, impartiality, and good administration that employees\/collaborators of the Company are required to observe in ensuring the pursuit of corporate objectives.<\/p>\n
It also applies to all those who, in any capacity, operate within the company’s structures and therefore to all collaborators or consultants, under any type of contract or assignment or authorization.<\/p>\n
The employee\/collaborator:<\/p>\n
\u2022 carries out their duties in compliance with the law, pursuing the company’s interest without abusing the position or powers they hold;
\n\u2022 also respects the principles of integrity, correctness, good faith, proportionality, objectivity, transparency, fairness, and reasonableness, and acts independently and impartially, refraining in case of conflict of interest;
\n\u2022 does not use office information for personal purposes, avoids situations and behaviors that may hinder the proper performance of duties or harm the interests or image of the company;
\n\u2022 performs their duties aiming for maximum efficiency and effectiveness;
\n\u2022 demonstrates adherence to ethical principles and rules in their conduct;
\n\u2022 avoids any situation that may place them or appear to place them in a conflict of interest, for example, by pursuing or showing pursuit of an interest other than that of the company or deriving personal economic benefits from their direct\/indirect relationship with the Company;
\n\u2022 is aware of the existence of operational and control procedures and aware of the contribution they make to achieving corporate objectives and efficiency and acts accordingly.<\/p>\n
For these purposes, it is necessary for the employee\/collaborator to be guided, in their daily actions, by the principles of responsibility and service culture, loyalty, and diligence in carrying out their duties; in any case, the appropriateness of performance and the correct use of allocated resources must be guaranteed.<\/p>\n
Any violation of the duties contained in the code by the employee\/collaborator entails the occurrence of disciplinary liability for those subject to such liability. In the event of such violations, the entities responsible for overseeing the correct application of the Code of Conduct will carry out the necessary investigations and activate the consequent and due initiatives.<\/p>\n
Employees\/collaborators must also adhere to the following behavioral rules:
\n\u2022 no one may provide confidential information to outsiders without prior authorization;
\n\u2022 no one may delay or assign to others the completion of activities or the adoption of decisions within their purview without justified reason.<\/p>\n
LICAT has decided to develop an Environmental Management System, which means that environmental aspects are considered and managed in every operation we undertake, with a view to preventing and improving environmental impacts.<\/p>\n
To this end, we expressly ask you to comply with the following points:<\/p>\n
\u2022 scrupulously observe all the prescriptive signage displayed in the company.
\n\u2022 pay maximum attention during your activities to avoid negative environmental impacts and pollution (e.g., excessive noise, spillages, fires, etc.).
\n\u2022 always inform the department manager before starting a maintenance intervention or disconnecting\/reconnecting the power supply
\n\u2022 always report any problems and accidents, even if small (e.g., spills, container overturns, leaks from pipes, etc.).
\n\u2022 in case of emergency, follow the instructions of internal personnel. Always wear personal protective equipment during activities with potential risks.
\n\u2022 for the disposal of your waste, refer to what is defined in the contract\/order; if there are no specific instructions, use the company’s collection points following the recycling flows scrupulously; in case of doubt, contact company personnel
\n\u2022 do not abandon waste.
\n\u2022 always leave the workplace tidy and clean.<\/p>\n
It is strictly forbidden, unless specifically authorized, to:
\n\uf02d tamper with or modify the position of valves, taps, and other parts of installations
\n\uf02d move or handle waste containers or chemical substances (e.g., oils, lubricants, etc.)
\n\uf02d pour liquid substances on the ground, in toilets, drains, on yards, and in sewers
\n\uf02d use open flames.
\n\uf02d intervene on machines in motion<\/p>\n
LICAT has also decided to develop an Occupational Health and Safety Management System, which means that safety aspects are considered and managed in every operation we undertake to create safe and healthy workplaces, preventing work-related injuries and illnesses.
\nThrough the Occupational Health and Safety Policy, we are committed to improving our efforts, with documented objectives and programs.<\/p>\n
To ensure that the requirements of their Occupational Health and Safety Management System are met by contractors and their workers, and in the case of outsourced processes, suppliers are required to adhere to the following points:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Suppliers undertake to comply with national regulations on quality, health, safety, and the environment.
\n\u2022 Suppliers undertake to manage and control all activities and aspects aimed at ensuring health and safety at work.
\n\u2022 Suppliers undertake to protect personnel from risks present in the workplace and from arduous tasks in the workplace, as well as from risks associated with the infrastructure used by personnel.
\n\u2022 Suppliers will take appropriate actions (checks, procedures, maintenance, etc.) to limit risks to health and safety in the workplace. If risks cannot be eliminated, suppliers undertake to provide appropriate Personal Protective Equipment to personnel.
\n\u2022 Suppliers undertake to provide ongoing training for personnel in terms of health and safety at work.
\n\u2022 Suppliers undertake to inform and train personnel about hazardous materials to ensure their protection.
\n\u2022 Suppliers undertake to identify possible and potential emergency situations in the workplace and to minimize the risk of their occurrence. Furthermore, they undertake to make available safety information on identified risks by training employees to ensure their adequate protection.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
